Job Description
At Unreasonable, we build community between entrepreneurs, institutions, and investors to profitably solve pressing global problems. We believe that entrepreneur-led companies, building rapidly scalable solutions, are the most powerful drivers for addressing the world’s most urgent social and environmental challenges. Every day, our team works to give these entrepreneurs an unfair advantage by connecting them with investors, mentors, business leaders, and policymakers who can accelerate both their growth and their impact.
Today, the 400+ ventures in the Unreasonable Fellowship have raised more than $20B in financing, generated more than $20B in revenue, and are measurably improving the lives of over 1.7 billion people across nearly every country and territory worldwide. And we’re just getting started.
We are now searching for a Portfolio Manager to support and champion our community of impact-driven entrepreneurs across Asia Pacific (APAC). This individual will serve as the primary relationship manager for entrepreneurs in the region, while also surfacing and advancing compelling investment opportunities for the Unreasonable Syndicate. Reporting to the Senior Director of Global Portfolio and working closely with the broader Portfolio & Investments Team, this is a dynamic, multi-faceted role at the intersection of founder support, capital access, and investor engagement. The position will include some domestic and international travel.
POSITION MISSION
The mission of this Portfolio Manager role is to champion and support Unreasonable’s entrepreneurs across Asia Pacific. The role exists to build strong relationships, unlock investment opportunities, and ensure every entrepreneur in the region has the capital access, resources, and connections needed to scale both their businesses and their impact.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Serve as Unreasonable’s primary point of contact for all APAC-based entrepreneurs and investors, maintaining trusted authentic relationships and ensuring consistent, high-quality engagement.
Conduct structured 1:1 conversations with entrepreneurs and act decisively on scaling priorities tied to both business growth and leadership development.
Collect, monitor, and proactively address the fundraising requirements of Fellows across APAC, ensuring alignment with investor expectations and capital readiness.
Develop tailored investor lists and fundraising strategies for APAC-based entrepreneurs, and facilitate high-value introductions to institutional, venture, and strategic capital providers.
Build and sustain trusted relationships with leading investors, funds, family offices, and ecosystem partners to strengthen Unreasonable’s deal flow and investment pipeline across the region.
Identify, diligence, and advance compelling investment opportunities within APAC portfolio companies that align with Unreasonable’s investment mandates and the Syndicate platform.
Oversee the collection, analysis, and approval of annual APAC business and impact performance data, ensuring accuracy and relevance for both internal and external stakeholders.
Collaborate with the Media Team to capture, validate, and strategically amplify press coverage related to APAC ventures under your management.
Partner with the Account Management Team and institutional partners to design and deliver high-impact, Fellow-facing engagements in APAC, both in-person and virtual.
Manage the investor invitation and engagement process for the Unreasonable Impact APAC program, ensuring the right capital partners are engaged.
Support the Programs Team in executing select programmatic components.
