Summary of Role:

Anthesis are looking for a talented and diligent System Administrator to maintain and administer all Anthesis systems/platforms and ensure that all systems run with optimal performance and security. We are looking for someone with a great attention to detail and an excellent ability to solve problems, using in-depth understanding of information systems and computing solutions. Anthesis’ business systems centre around Microsoft (365 & AAD), GCP, AWS, Oracle NetSuite 2022.x ERP and custom developed Client digital solutions.

The role is line-managed in the Digital Delivery team, in the office of the CIO (who is Executive Sponsor for Data Digital and Technology and associated governance) working closely with Anthesis Technology Operations manager on global approach. Please note, this is a flexible role that is able to work from home although meetings with colleagues face-to-face will require some travel to an office e.g. for workshops, significant meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the maintenance schedules of global platforms in a multi-site global organisation of >1000 users, stakeholder groups and across systems.

  • Monitor system health, events and logs of all platforms across digital product platforms and digital workplace, including MS365.

  • Ensure systems follow best practice to ensure they are highly reliable and highly available

  • Monitor platform performance, helping identify root causes of degradation and implement steps for continual improvement.

  • Document the systems for formal process and change control.

  • Document security standards including web certificates, DNS, security baselines and alignment with security frameworks

  • Provide audit and assurances on controls to ensure these are fit for purpose, including digital product hosting platforms.

  • Test and implement updates across systems to harmonise global corporate taxonomy.

  • Support Service and Systems colleagues in second- or third-line problem solving.

  • Coordinate across other key business systems ensuring integrity of all data integrations, APIs and data interchange.

  • Ensure all systems always have the appropriate level of support cover.

  • Additional Project work as required and work across time zones.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years in a varied IT system focused role

  • Experience in dealing with system policies, agreements, performance management and security (cloud security, firewalls etc.)

  • Knowledgeable on MS 365 and/or Azure Active Directory would be beneficial

  • Understanding of databases such as MS SQL Server, MySQL, Postgres would be beneficial.

  • Ability to troubleshoot systems, software, databases etc.

  • Excellent communication skills – verbal and written (Spanish language would also useful)

  • High level attention to detail in reporting, database creation and maintaining and log taking.
