Students receive a comprehensive, research-based, college preparatory curriculum, individualized instruction, cutting-edge assistive technologies, and successful college placement, with an emphasis on metacognition and self-advocacy within a community based on Quaker values.

About you and the role

The Digital Marketing Manager will join a collaborative and growth-minded team and report directly to the Director of Marketing & Communications. The Digital Marketing Manager monitors, develops, and posts content to the school’s social media platforms, updates the school’s website and online profiles, creates and manages online advertising, and builds relationships with other members of the DVFriends community to discover and showcase stories that reflect and resonate with our existing and prospective audiences. Here’s a taste of what you’ll do:

  • Build relationships with faculty, staff, administrators, and students to discover and develop story ideas for social media and other online marketing

  • Write crisp, engaging, error-free social media posts and marketing copy that reflect the DVFriends brand and key message points

  • Take photographs and video of events and happenings at school and use them in digital marketing pieces

  • Carefully monitor the school’s online presence for engagement and any concerning or inappropriate activity

  • Use graphic design software to develop additional visuals for stories and collateral pieces

  • Ensure that the school’s website content is updated regularly

  • Create and manage digital advertising campaigns on Facebook and Google

  • Partner with the Director of Marketing & Communications to develop digital marketing strategies and initiatives that further the growth of the school’s online marketing presence
