Job Description
ROLE OUTLINE AND PURPOSE
This role delivers a proactive plan that ensures our network of food banks across the UK feel connected to the Trussell Trust, encourages collaboration and fosters an inspiring, learning culture that embeds our values. The role will use a range of communications tools and approaches to share information with the network and support our Together for Change strategy.
Deliver a communications strategy for the network, across several channels including the digital hub, social media, blogs and regular newsletters, that embeds our values
Ensure all relevant organisational initiatives, updates and projects are successfully communicated to food banks efficiently and expertly ·
Help bring our Together for Change strategy to life by collating stories, inspiration and learnings to ensure food banks feel connected with each other and the Trussell Trust
Help embed and support with the day-to-day running of comprehensive communications channels and processes to ensure our messages are reaching our food bank audiences effectively, working closely and inclusively with our operational team and the network itself to understand communication needs.
Act as a consultant for food banks to help build their capacity and expertise in communications, including providing copywriting support and messaging guidance, where necessary
Participate in regular 1:1s and annual reviews, contributing to the identification of objectives and targets, and monitoring progress towards them.
