The Opportunity

We have an opening for a Data Analyst in our Corporate Sustainability team. This position can be based in our Denver, Colorado or Calgary, Alberta offices and reports to the Manager, Corporate Sustainability located in Calgary. This role has accountability for submitting company information to external agencies and analyzing large amounts of data. In this role, you will also build regular reports and dashboards around our sustainability performance. You will receive requests from multiple groups; therefore, the ability to prioritize tasks is critical. Experience with Business Intelligence tools, including Power BI or Tableau, is required. Experience with capital markets and accounting would be beneficial but is not required. 

   

What You Will Do

  • Generate and validate ESG Rating Agency data 

  • Analyze large amounts of complex data and look for valuable insight to help make business decisions 

  • Interpreting data and converting it into visualizations  

  • Build a monthly report out of sustainability performance 

  • Maintain required tracking documentation 

  • Designing data collection systems and developing protocols 

  • Manage and work with data from multiple functions, including ESG, Environment, Stakeholder Engagement, Government Relations, and Liability Management 

  • Acquiring data from primary and secondary sources 

  

The Requirements

  • Up to five years of experience with data analytics  

  • Education in a data science or data analytics field is preferred 

  • High School Diploma required; Associate degree preferred
