SPIN - Catapult - SCC User Capture & Design
- Closing: 5:30pm, 31st Mar 2024 BST
Perks and benefits
This project is a cross-Catapult initiative, supported by both the Business & Market Modelling Team and the User Centred Design Team.
The Space Capabilities Catalogue (SCC) presents a brief introduction to a diverse range of organisations in the UK space sector, what they are doing, and where they are based across the country. These companies span a wide range of disciplines and by increasing the visibility of the capabilities of the UK space sector we hope to stimulate future collaborations, new business, and innovations for customers and end-users.
Following an internal workshop, it was recommended that further user requirements capture and engagement was needed to further evolve the SCC as a platform. This project shall reach out to current and potential users of the SCC to understand how they interact with / could interact with the SCC, what functions and features they desire, and how to best present this information. The successful applicant will provide a report and presentation on findings and recommendations including mock-ups or wireframes of how best to present SCC dashboards.
Qualitative user research to understand how current users are using the SCC and what barriers they encounter
Carry out synthesis and analysis of user feedback, and produce a summary of desired functions and features
Produce mock-ups and wireframes for the design for dashboards
Present findings and recommendations
