Job Description

We are the property industry’s charity working to end youth homelessness in the UK. We bring remarkable businesses and individuals from across the sector together to support charities delivering life-changing services for young people who are or have been homeless, or who are at risk of homelessness in the future.

We are looking to recruit a full-time Partnerships & Philanthropy Officer to join our creative and high performing team. The ideal candidate will have an interest and passion for fundraising, and a proven ability to build open and constructive relationships with a diverse range of industrials, including senior corporate stakeholders.

You will be an excellent written and verbal communicator and be articulate, persuasive, and credible in engaging with customers, clients or partners.

This unique and new role for LandAid will provide the right candidate with an opportunity to develop their experience and capability in both corporate partnerships and major donor fundraising. You will have the opportunity to act as relationship manager for 10-12 of our corporate partners, while simultaneously acting as the lead within the organisation on our new Patrons Group, an alumnae network of influential and long-term LandAid supporters.

By helping us maintain and grow a critical source of income that our corporate partners provide and helping us harness our potential for major donor fundraising, you will deliver a significant contribution to our goal to deliver 1000 new homes for young people who are homeless by 2024.

With more partners behind us than ever before, and a growing alumnae network of influential supporters , we are on track for the most successful fundraising year in the charity’s history. This momentum represents a unique opportunity to bring the property sector together to create a remarkable legacy of social change, making it an incredibly exciting time to join us.

You will also manage our Tech Network, a rapidly growing community of digital specialists and tech start-ups with the skills and passion to make a unique contribution to our mission to end youth homelessness.

We are currently all working remotely from home, with minimal expectations on colleagues to be in the office once a month. You will be able to design a working pattern that suits you, your family, the needs of the job and the team, however, you will need to consider that many of our corporate partners remain based in London, and as a result, some travel into central London will be required.

We look forward to hearing from you.
