About the role

On a day to day basis, you will:

• Make sustainable and high-quality technical contributions to the platform

• Learn and self-reflect on an ongoing basis with the support of our team

• Work closely with your peers in Product, UX, Marketing and Engineering to contribute to the team goals

• Assist in keeping the app up in production. All devs take part in on-call - don't stress, we train staff well for this!

About you

Essential requirements

• Knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript and eager to learn new languages, frameworks and tools.

• A positive mindset: equal parts curious, collaborative, and can-do attitude

• 0-2 years commercial web development experience

• Strong verbal and written communications skills

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related subject, bootcamp graduates with additional relevant life or education experience also welcome

Bonus points

• Commercial experience with a server-side language like Golang, Javascript, Ruby or PHP

• Experience with React or other recent Javascript frameworks.

• Familiarity with TypeScript and GraphQL

• A love of open-source, building on the shoulders of giants.

• A keen eye for design and usability
