Job Title: Investment Data Support Officer

Department: Investment Group

Reports to: Data and Portfolio Director [TBC]

Salary: £33,500 - £36,000

Contract: 6 Months FTC

Location: Hybrid / London, EC4A and homeworking

The opportunity:

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with proven data administration and management experience who is keen to support our investment activity in our mission-driven Investment Group.

This role is key in helping to improve our core investment data set and systems to ensure we have quality and accurate data, particularly in our areas of impact and systems change management and insight. The individual will also support some of our annual data-led activities, such as our Impact Report.

This is a varied role that requires a logical and thoughtful approach to ensure management of multiple workstreams with rigour and purpose in a timely and professional manner. We celebrate innovation and this role would suit someone well who is client-centric and excited by making systems work well, suggesting recommendations for adaptation and improvement.

What you will do:

Data Entry, Cleansing and Analysis

  • Collating and cleansing key data points from multiple sources such as Investment Committee memos, legal documents and fund manager reporting

  • Migrating key impact and financial data into Salesforce that is currently in Microsoft Office documents

  • Reviewing the completeness of our investment records on Salesforce and SharePoint and working with key stakeholder to fill any outstanding gaps

Data Project Support

  • Supporting the delivery of our annual impact report including data collation, analysis and visualisation

  • Supporting the project management of our annual Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Survey to our fund managers and entering all EDI Action Plans into Salesforce

  • Supporting the review of our Salesforce approach and data entry process to ensure quality and accurate records on an ongoing basis

Filing Support

  • Supporting the development and implementation of a new filing structure for our core investment documents on Sharepoint

  • Reviewing Sharepoint folders to ensure we have all key documents in place

Experience

Essential experience:

  • Demonstrable experience in data entry, cleaning and collation

  • Working as part of a team, building relationships with key stakeholders at all levels

  • Confident and competent use of Microsoft Office (especially MS Excel)

Desirable experience

  • Experience working within financial services, charity or social enterprise sector

  • Experience using Salesforce

  • Experience in data analysis methodologies

  • Experience of data visualisation tools

  • Experience in filing and systems management
