ImpactEd is an award-winning social enterprise that exists to help evaluate, understand and improve impact in education.

In our education system, we invest huge amounts of time, money and energy in different programmes and interventions to improve outcomes for pupils. Yet far too often, we don’t know what is working – and what isn’t. We exist to address this evaluation deficit, helping schools and those working with them to better understand what is working to make a difference to the lives of young people. We do this through a combination of hands-on partnership, training and consultancy, and our digital platform which makes monitoring and evaluation quicker, easier and more effective.

ImpactEd’s new strategy outlines a two-fold commitment to systemic impact through enabling our partners to make better decisions on behalf of children, and empowering our team to make effective decisions on behalf of the organisation. We are now recruiting for a new position of Director of School Partnerships who will be central to achieving both ambitions.

This role will have end-to-end ownership of our offer to schools. You will help ensure that we provide the right services in the right way, and guide the development of our digital platform to meet school needs. You will have primary responsibility for designing and delivering our growth strategy, expanding our reach to schools by two to three times over the next four years. You will also manage and work closely with a departmental Head to quality assure delivery, model excellence in relationship management and oversee and develop our school partnerships team.

This is a senior leadership role within the organisation, reporting to our Managing Director and Board. For someone with a deep understanding of the education sector, a good commercial sense and ambition to take on strategic ownership of our school product, this is a unique opportunity to shape the leadership and direction of a fast-growing social enterprise.

*Pay scales are reviewed in August of each year and this role would be eligible for any inflationary adjustments if applied at that stage. Potential for additional benefits linked to possible transition to employee ownership.
