Job Description
Project Description:
We are seeking a marketing intern to assist us in developing our marketing strategy and profile and implementing plans for the next stages of our company and product development.
Our aim is to produce and implement a marketing strategy and plan that will propel GVL to its next level of operations. This will include:
Digital presence including:
o social media
o website
o online marketing
Marketing collateral including brochures, leaflets and popups/banners

Applicant Specification:
We are looking for a candidate that combines commercial awareness with creativity. In return we will help you develop your communication skills and you will work as part of a high performing team with the opportunity to collaborate with a range of stakeholders
Collaborative working – You will be working as part of a dynamic, flexible and agile team.
Project Management – the successful application will need to manage this project, with the support the GVL Head of Operations
Commercial awareness –The successful applicant will need to gain an understanding of the commercial environment of all elements of GVL in order to communicate our offering to our audiences
Business planning and foresight – This project by identifying market opportunities will help inform future forecasting and commercial planning
Personal time management – elements of the project such as interviews with clients and the creation of assets will be self-managed by the successful applicant
Minimum requirements:
Be a minimum of 18 years old & ideally studying for a marketing related degree (or equivalent)
Demonstrate quick learning abilities, curiosity, and creativity.
Work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Embrace new challenges.
Possess passion and enthusiasm
Process details:
8 weeks minimum fixed term contract to be agreed with successful candidate
In-person Induction Event to be held on [date], and an in-person/hybrid Showcase Event to be held at the [place/date]
5 days holiday to be taken during the placement
