Wild One launched in September 2018. Since then, we’ve run a pop-up shop in the heart of Nolita, been dubbed the “Everlane and Outdoor Voices of pet accessories”, partnered with key retailers such as Target, Need Supply, Bloomingdale’s and more. 

About the Role

Wild One is seeking a Global Supply Chain Manager.  This role will be responsible for managing the production of our essential Wild One products in Asia and securing and cultivating long-term relationships with suppliers. You will manage the sourcing and development lifecycle of new products and collaborate effortlessly cross-functionally to deliver optimal results. You are highly motivated, extremely organized, thrive in fast paced environments and love identifying, problem solving and implementing process improvements that will assist our growing brand. 

This is a full time role based in New York City and will report to the Head of Production/ Co-Founder.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all open orders for certain categories and maintain tools to ensure on time schedules, freight and inbound shipment communication

  • Work with suppliers for capacity planning, lead time improvements, production & manufacturer efficiencies

  • Work closely with logistics providers for best in class freight, broker for import and 3PL partners for inbound inventory schedules and allocation

  • Keen understanding of vendor and product testing (chemical & performance), compliance and quality control 

  • Assist in sourcing and onboarding suppliers for new products in the category creating new vendor checklists, reviewing and developing initial prototypes and maintain detailed cost models to inform decision making 

  • Explore material innovation/ enhancements and assist continuous improvement initiatives 

  • Lead implementation or analysis of supplier ethical sourcing audits and certificates and maintain records

About You

  • 5-7 years product development and/or production experience, consumer product industry preferred

  • Ability to work in a self-directed, entrepreneurial environment 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including coordinating with international partners across different time zones as necessary

  • Adept project manager who is experienced managing multiple concurrent projects to timeline 

  • Good attention to detail on product quality, good color reading skills nice to have

  • Loves data and possesses strong quantitative skills 

  • Available to travel to China Asia Pacific post-pandemic (when it’s safe!) 

*This role will begin working remotely and move onsite when our office reopens.
