The Partnerships Development Manager Role:

We are looking for a strategic and sales-minded Partnerships Development Manager to join our foundational Partnerships team. Even without a dedicated resource, partners have become a critical source of leads and sales opportunities. Needless to say, there is a well of untapped potential to dig into, and this role will own this domain and have a massive impact on our business!

Your Impact:

You will be Proton's first Partnerships Development Manager, working closely with our VP of Sales to build a strategy and execute the plans you design.

As the Partnerships Development Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Partner Sourcing: Identifying potential key partners, Building an engagement strategy, and Activating partnerships with Buying Groups, Industry Associations, and Technology Vendors/Platforms

  • Partnership management: Building strategic, demand-generating initiatives (e.g. co-marketed webinar, content series), Routine check-in meetings with partners (updates on Proton's roadmap, metrics reviews), and Running strategic quarterly meetings (QBR-style)

  • Partner onboarding: Designing an onboarding plan for new partners, Running kick-off meetings, Setting the tone for the partnership, and Creating goals/metrics to track within the partnership

  • Reporting: Tracking key metrics relevant to each partnership, and Sharing insights about your partnerships with the internal team

  • Strategy: Proposing terms and structures for new partnerships, Planning/estimating a partnerships roadmap, and Adjusting plans based on what you're learning

What you bring to this role:

- Experience in Consulting, Strategic Partnerships, Sales, or similar in Enterprise SaaS or B2B distribution

- Scrappy, thoughtful and detail-oriented

- An interest in Artificial Intelligence, B2B Distribution, and technology in general

This is a full-time remote position. Salary of $100k - $130k, plus equity, healthcare, 401k, and generous vacation policy. Candidates must be based in the USA. Occasional travel required to trade shows, partners or internal.
