Bridges has raised over £1.7bn across our platform of private markets verticals (Private Equity, Property, & Outcomes Contracts) and is recognised internationally for our 21-year track record and ongoing thought leadership in impact investing.

Bridges is seeking an Analyst for our Private Equity Strategy to support the team across a range of areas, including impact analysis, portfolio engagement and value creation.

Here’s a taste of what you’ll do:

This role gives the opportunity to gain broad exposure to the whole of the investing cycle, from deal origination through to impact analysis, portfolio management and valuation.

Impact Analysis and Management

  • Contribute to the impact assessment of potential investments using Bridges impact tools and frameworks to support due diligence and investment processes.

  • Support on regular impact analysis and reporting, including annual reports and investor communications.

  • Ensure that Bridges reporting aligns with relevant industry standards and frameworks (e.g. SFDR, PRI, B Corp).

Portfolio Engagement and Value Creation

  • Coordinate the collection of impact and operational data from portfolio companies.

  • Liaise with portfolio companies to support the implementation of impact initiatives.

  • Support value creation initiatives across the portfolio, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.

  • Organise and support internal portfolio review meetings to track progress and surface insights.

 

Origination and Valuation support

  • Conduct market research on identified sectors by analysing market trends and policy drivers

  • Assist in building and maintaining a pipeline of potential investment opportunities through research, CRM systems, and outreach

  • Contribute to the screening and assessment of new investment opportunities

  • Assist with preparing for quarterly valuation exercises of portfolio companies

  • Be a key driver of streamlining and improving the fund’s valuations process

  • Comfortable with the ambiguity that comes with an entrepreneurial environment – willing and able to adapt to change

Your experience will include

  • 1-2+ years of experience working in management consulting, investment firm, banking or accounting

  • Degree level education or equivalent experience

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, adept at working with multiple stakeholders

  • Excellent financial and modelling skills – high level of financial literacy, possibly from an accounting background

  • Ability to work dynamically, while managing several priorities and projects at once

You’ll answer some questions that are related to the day-to-day job. Your answers will go through our process: all answers will be anonymised, randomised, and then reviewed by a panel of reviewers.

If you are shortlisted, we’ll invite you to the next step, which will be first and second round interviews with some of our colleagues. Once we have concluded the process, we would like the successful candidate to start as soon as possible following their appointment.

Expected duration of this application process: 2-6 weeks. Interviews will likely take place in late July 2025.
