Bridges is now seeking an Associate to work on the SGF team, supporting new investments and value and impact creation within our portfolio.
The role is full time. The team works flexibly, with this role being office based at least 3-4 days per week.
Priorities for the role
There are several priorities for the role:
Supporting investment execution. Building detailed financial investment and valuation models, producing insightful company analysis, drafting and presenting of investment committee papers, reading and analysing due diligence materials and supporting assessment of management teams.
Developing new opportunities. Analysing new investment opportunities or sectors that are aligned with Bridges’ investment approach, including attending company presentations, drafting initial investment memos and researching target sectors.
Working with investee businesses. Working with portfolio companies to maximise their impact and value creation, including regular interaction with senior management and observing board meetings.
Developing and maintaining excellent stakeholder relationships. Engaging with and building strong relationships with multiple stakeholders linked to both the investment process and Bridges’ ownership period.
Key attributes we are looking for:
Excellent financial, accounting and modelling skill set
Keen interest in sustainable and impact investment and a desire to drive profit with purpose.
An understanding of the private equity deal and investment lifecycle
Ability to build and maintain trust and act with integrity at all times.
Self-starter who is able to take ownership of tasks and work independently.
Desire to work in a dynamic environment along with the ability to get up to speed quickly, be solutions focused and to work in a small team.
Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to engage confidently with multiple stakeholders, including management teams, a range of advisors and funding providers.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
You will have:
High level of financial literacy through financial qualification (ACA or similar) or 2+ years relevant experience at another PE house, bank or consultancy.
Exceptional business analytical skills.
Prior knowledge of growth private equity modelling, structuring, valuation methods and processes a significant advantage.
Excellent academic qualifications – degree level education or experience.

The remuneration offered will be commensurate with experience.
