Role Summary
As part of the Learning Content Creation (LCC) team you will report to Joint Heads of Programme who have strategic responsibility for Into Film’s overall educational programme. As one of three Leads for LCC (Resources, Training and Curation) you will work closely with the Training Lead to collaboratively manage and motivate the Resources Team responsible for devising, commissioning, creating and delivering high quality film-focused and training resources. Into Film is primarily focused on resources promoting film for learning, filmmaking and moving image, and careers, as well as commissioned and commercially supported resources in partnership with major film studios. Into Film resources and training are designed for use in both formal and informal educational and youth group settings. You will assist and feed into the strategic planning for resources and training with senior management. You will be a leader within the main outward-facing team championing Into Film’s resources and training, working with a view to ensuring the take up of this part of the Into Film offer. You will work with teams across Into Film ensuring that information on your work is disseminated and that you gather input from other areas of the programme.
Main Responsibilities:
To manage and motivate a small team to ensure that Into Film meets challenging targets on quality and uptake of our resources and training offer, ensuring deadlines are met.
To assist your Managers (Joint Heads of Programme) and others to work strategically over the next three years, including planning, reporting, responding to relevant fundraising opportunities, and working with the team to understand and adhere to budgets.
To positively contribute to the development of Into Film’s video-on-demand/and online learning platforms and create materials, resources and content for both.
To oversee research, commissioning and delivery of resources both in-house and externally and ensure that all resources/training meet high writing, educational and child protection standards as well as being exciting and stimulating for teachers and students alike.
To build and manage relationships with partners and others so that Into Film works with other high-quality brands and organisations, thus maximizing the value and visibility of our resources and training.
Liaise with teachers and educators across the UK to ensure that resources are fit for purpose and user-led.
To implement quality assurance processes and regularly contribute to the regular monitoring and evaluation of Into Film’s work.

Any other reasonable duties assigned by Into Film Person Specification:
Minimum Requirements:
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills both written and in-person.
Experience of team and project management, including commissioning work from individuals/organisations, running meetings, identifying training needs and managing HR issues in collaboration, where necessary, with the HR team.
Teaching in the UK or equivalent experience.
Experience of producing high quality resources and training, of film as a cultural art form alongside literature, drama etc. and as an educational tool.
Knowledge of schools, and the curriculum in the four nations and of informal learning settings such youth clubs, libraries etc.
Experience of research, and devising monitoring and evaluation frameworks.
Experience of working effectively with partner organisations/client management.
Writing reports for funders and others.
A love and knowledge of film.
Desirable:
Experience of commercial resource production
Experience of working in the not-for-profit sector
Some experience/knowledge of filmmaking with teachers and young people
Speaking at conferences or with smaller groups of educationalists and others
Familiarity with Microsoft 365
