We are looking for a freelance contract management/procurement/supply chain professional to join our Operations team.

Ideally full time until 31st March 2024. Part-time considered.

Working with Oak's Head of Operations to ensure suppliers are sourced appropriately, contracts are managed effectively, and strong relationships are built with internal and external stakeholders.

This could include:

• Instigating procurement activities, writing opportunities and evaluating tenders

• Keeping us right with Public Procurement Regulations

• Populating contracts, contract management and supplier communications

• Supplier performance and contract management

You will need

• Experience in the Public Sector (this could be in procurement, contract management, supply chain management)

• Experience in providing freelance services

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• MCIPS or another recognised qualification would be desirable

• the ability to work at pace with minimal supervision

  Important Note: this is a hands-on role, we are not looking for consultancy services - we need someone who can roll their sleeves up, get stuck in and do the job. Depending on the skills and experience of the freelancer the key characteristics of this role can be flexible.
