Bringing your vision and experience to our team of experts, this pivotal role will see you working closely with our Head of Early Stage, Josh Sharma and our Senior Legal Team. You will help build the business unit, ensuring quality work within our team and an exceptional experience for our early stage clients.

• Have a strong interest in early stage startups and working closely with founders

Essential skills - you should apply if you have experience in:

• Company Documents and Governance (e.g. Shareholders Agreements)

• Operational contracting such as SaaS Agreements and Servicing Agreements  

• Investment / Capital raising 

• Intellectual property 

It would be an added bonus if you have any of the following in your toolkit:

• Experience advising early stage tech companies 

• Have started your own business or have experience working in a startup

• Business development and /or sales experience; 

• Facilitation and/or presenting;

• You have experience collaborating with accountants, tax advisors and / or software engineers to deliver outcomes for clients.

Your role at LUNA:

Service Delivery - delivering technically excellent but commercially sensible legal documents and advice that is tailored to the startup world, including:

• Shareholder Agreements 

• Early Stage Investment (Pre-seed to Series A)

• Operational contracts (SaaS, Servicing Agreements) 

• Structuring and restructuring 

• Employee Incentives (ESOPs, LFSPs, Phantom Share Schemes, Bonus structures)

• IP + Privacy 

Build LUNA's Early Stage Offering — we want you to play an integral role in building our early stage offering.  Alongside the Head of Early Stage you will be helping us to build out novel and tech supported legal solutions for Australia’s up and coming founders. 

Legal Coaching - as an integral part of your role, you will take the time to coach, mentor and train other junior team members to ensure exceptional client experience and work at all times

BD - we don’t see rain making as something that is just for “Partners” — it’s a core skill for any entrepreneur and that’s exactly how we see all of our team: entrepreneurial in spirit and attitude. This will mean attending and representing LUNA at startup events, running client and partner presentations and taking clients out for coffee.

Impact — we want you to have an impact beyond our legal services. This means presenting to accelerator programs and founders, writing up helpful articles and blog posts and using tech to build out new accounting products. It also might mean getting involved in one of our various committees or passion projects. We want you to have an impact that is authentic and fulfilling.
