Job Description

ABOUT US

At Founders Pledge, our mission is to empower entrepreneurs to do immense good. Since launching in 2015, we’ve raised over $10 billion for the most impactful social causes. We offer the simplest path to impact for successful entrepreneurs, providing end-to-end giving infrastructure, pioneering research, and access to a worldwide network of experts. In other words, we help tech leaders become strategic philanthropists. Our 1900+ members include the people behind industry-leading companies such as Airbnb, UiPath, Dropbox, Skype, Spotify, and Uber.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for a Data Hygiene Analyst to join our dynamic team dedicated to ensuring data integrity and quality across our organization. As we embark on a journey to enhance our data management processes, this role is crucial in supporting our mission to leverage data for impactful decision-making. You’ll report to Harry, our Interim Director of Product and Tech, and work closely with key stakeholders across Impact Analytics, Finance, Product, and the Tech teams. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of data health initiatives, streamline processes, and contribute to the overall efficiency of our operations.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring and validating data across systems to ensure integrity, accuracy, and consistency.

  • Identifying and resolving data discrepancies, errors, or patterns of bad data promptly.

  • Collaborating with stakeholders to investigate and troubleshoot data issues effectively.

  • Developing and implementing processes to enhance data quality and integrity.

  • Performing regular data audits and analyses to identify trends, anomalies, and root causes of data integrity issues.

  • Creating and maintaining documentation related to data quality standards and best practices.

  • Supporting cross-functional teams by providing insights and recommendations for process improvements.

  • Liaising with the Tech and Impact Analytics team to ensure systems are configured correctly and uphold strong data integrity measures.

ABOUT YOU

We’re also looking for someone who is:

  • Proven in fixing complex data sets and ensuring data quality.

  • Strong in problem-solving with a logical understanding of data management.

  • Excellent in communication to engage with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

  • Capable of leading processes independently and driving accountability among team members.

  • Proactive in identifying and resolving data discrepancies.

Nice-to-have skills that might be helpful in the role:

  • Familiarity with data management tools and software, preferably Salesforce.

  • Understanding of data governance frameworks.

WHY WORK WITH US?

You can find more about the benefits we offer here, but what makes us truly special is both our mission and our people. We’re a diverse team, from both charitable and commercial backgrounds, who believe that amazing things can happen when we tackle problems together. We offer a flat structure and an opportunity to help shape the future of philanthropy.

We ask that applicants to this role are based within the United Kingdom. Although we have a small HQ in London, there’s no expectation for you to attend on a regular basis. At the same time, if you think you’d benefit from a desk in a co-working space close to your home, this can be arranged. Otherwise, you just need a great home wifi connection and we’ll provide you with everything else you need to be successful in your role.

On top of this, we’ll bring the global team together once per year and individual teams will meet to work together once per year!

We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at Founders Pledge. We seek people with different strengths, experiences and backgrounds, who share our drive to understand and solve complex social challenges. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, colour, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.

Finding solutions to the world’s most pressing problems requires different perspectives and unique ways of thinking and we are committed to building an inclusive and diverse workplace where everyone can do their best work.
