The Integrity Council for the Voluntary Carbon Market (ICVCM) is a non-profit, independent governance body that aims to set and maintain a global standard for high integrity in the voluntary carbon market, unlocking private climate and carbon finance that would not otherwise be deployed. The Executive Secretariat for the ICVCM are looking to appoint a Programme Coordinator to join the Programme Management Office (PMO) team. This is a diverse role supporting programmes and projects, coordinating and delivering PMO activity and the management of small projects and workstreams.
You will be pragmatic and results-focused, with a keen attention to detail and process. You will also need to be comfortable working in a team with partners and colleagues in multiple organisations and geographical locations and be able to effectively manage relationships with key stakeholders with differing priorities and areas of expertise.
As part of a small but growing team, you will need to be flexible and willing to undertake tasks to support the wider activities of the Integrity Council when required.
This is an exciting and fast paced role, with considerable opportunity to shape the role and develop as the Integrity Council grows.
The ICVCM is a remote organisation, with the optional opportunity to work in London regularly if desired. We are dedicated to fostering a positive work/non-work balance and operate with flexible start and finish times/no core hours. We are also open to more formal flexible working arrangements such as compressed hours, part-time etc. The role is offered as standard as a 40 hour a week contract with 30 days annual leave per year, plus bank holidays.

Candidates will be told the outcome of their application by 9th July, with first interviews planned for 15th & 16th July and second interviews for 22nd July. Additional interview rounds may take place if required and candidates will be informed if any of the above dates are required to change.
Key duties
To deliver organisation wide PMO functions such as; coordination of the corporate risk management process, maintaining the master timeline, corporate reporting (highlight, KPI’s etc.), facilitating lessons learned etc.
Contribute to and support the planning and delivery of projects and programmes including research and analysis, stakeholder coordination, budget tracking and monitoring, communications and engagement, process mapping etc.
Ensuring that Project, Programme and corporate policies and processes are followed
Owning the management and delivery of small projects or workstreams
Arranging and managing meetings, preparing agendas, accurately taking minutes, actions and decision points from key programme, project and workstream meetings and briefings and ensuring these are tracked and followed up
Manage shared inboxes and calendars, responding promptly to stakeholder enquiries
Document storage and version control of project/programme documentation
Collate management information and dashboards for presentation and reporting
Work effectively with various internal and external stakeholders
Additional duties as required.
Essential experience
Experience of co-ordinating complex teams, projects, workstreams or the delivery of PMO functions
Experience of proactively monitoring team, project or programme progress and risks, including appropriate escalations or where possible, proactive resolution of issues
Experience of supporting the planning and delivery of projects and programmes
Experience of contributing to quality control processes including reviewing and checking documents
Mailbox and meeting management experience
Experience of effectively managing or working collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders
Experience of developing and maintaining effective working relationships with a range of stakeholders
Desirable Experience
Knowledge of PMO / programme management and/or a professional qualification such as Agile, MSP, P3O or MoP
Experience supporting delivery of change to small teams
Experience of working in a start-up environment and in a small team
Experience of working in an international context and/or across multi-agency project teams
Experience of working with PowerBi and Microsoft Project
