About the Role

Very Great is hiring an intern to help with general business development on our Sales Team. This job will entail working directly with the Sales Team part-time or full-time pending availability (targeting 3-5 days per week), and will be an excellent learning opportunity for anyone interested in getting a hands-on experience in sales and business development in the consumer / retail industry. We are looking for someone that wants to learn about building a company and brands, while having a lot of fun doing it.

This is a temporary, hourly position that pays $20/hour throughout the Winter and/or Spring semesters. 

This position has the option to work fully remote or out of our NYC office and will begin in January 2024.

Responsibilities 

• Participate in strategic business planning for the Sales team at Very Great

• Support VP of Sales, Mass/Major, Custom & Hospitality, Independent Retail, and International teams with short-term and long-term tasks supporting sales expansion

• Assist in the development of new sales channels and customer leads

• Analyze sales databases and develop actionable recommendations

Perform general administration tasks, supporting the Sales Team, as needed

• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and Google suite

• Ability to work flexibly and efficiently in multiple environments
