Job Description
The Institute for Government is looking to recruit a highly organised and enthusiastic Partnerships Officer to join our Partnerships team.
The Partnerships team plays a key role in supporting the IfG’s activities. They engage with external partners to secure funding and other forms of support for our work, as well as creating opportunities for our research and other activities to be consumed more widely by different audiences in the public policy sphere. Working across the organisation, with all research teams, the communications and events team and with senior management and leadership, the Partnerships team advise and assist in the delivery of all partnered projects at the IfG.
As a Partnerships Officer, you will help coordinate the smooth running of the IfG’s external fundraising activities by providing operational, administrative and project management support to the Partnerships team. You will support the delivery of partnered projects from start to finish, including the development of our party conference programme, working with the rest of the Partnerships team and other relevant teams across the IfG.
In this role, reporting to the Senior Partnerships Manager, you will:
Support the development of funding proposals, agreements and email communications to existing and prospective partners.
Provide diary management and other administrative support to senior Partnerships team members, including producing and circulating meeting minutes.
Produce contextualised lists of potential partners, and design and deliver marketing campaigns.
Track relationships and resource generation progress with new and existing funders, reporting progress using the IfG’s CRM software.
Track project revenue and costs to ensure partnered projects remain within budget.
Produce invoices and support the IfG’s finance function in relation to funding.
Help to prepare funding reports for the Board and senior management team.
Work with our communications team to keep relevant webpages about partnered projects and our funding sources up-to-date.
Support the Partnerships team in advocating across the IfG for the advantages of working with partners.
