About You

Security and safety are your bread and butter (we'll talk about that more soon). Additionally, you:

• Are VERY detail oriented, and comfortable with the challenge of working in a highly-regulated industry, maintaining diligent records and SOP's according to industry and company standards.

• Are very comfortable with technology, or very comfortable learning new technology to the point of mastery, quickly

About The Job

You will report to and work closely with Vangarden's Head of Security.

Specific Responsibilities

• Maintain up-to-date compliance with the Security Protocols generated internally and by the Cannabis Control Commission

• Perform Access control monitoring of building entrances to ensure that employees and visitors display proper identification

• Be kind , but firm and professional regarding security protocols for vendors and visitors

• Monitor CCTV throughout the facility - maintain security and safety - report any breach or potential breach of security

• Assist with Medical Emergencies- Emergency protocol - Training provided - (CPR - First Aid)

• Maintain employee ID’s, visitor logs, and reports

• Respond to alarm activation to the facility if needed and provide escort into the building

• Maintain communication with local law enforcement to coordinate security plans, and assist in investigations

• Enact fire evacuation procedures, and emergency preparedness plans as needed (we will train)

• Monitor the delivery of product and location of transport vans

  The schedule for this position is

  Tuesdays & Wednesdays: 8:00am-4:00pm

  Fridays: 9:00am-4:00pm

  Saturday: 7:30am-4:30pm
