level= is delighted to be supporting Brentford Football Club in their search for a talented Marketing Executive for their office in West London.

The Role of the Marketing Executive:

Reporting to the Head of Club Marketing, this role will be responsible for building the Club’s digital relationship with its fans. The role will cover all digital touchpoints; driving new and existing audience engagement by implementing the most effective technical solutions and media choices. The successful candidate will be forward thinking, commercially savvy and always innovating..

Marketing Executive Main Accountabilities:

  • Play a key role in the continued development of the Brentford FC website to ensure the functionality is in place to deliver against club objectives.  

  • Lead on the department’s Search Engine Optimisation output; ensuring the website’s content output is optimised to maximise traffic from Google.

  • Curate the visual elements of the club’s websites, ensuring relevant products and messaging are well placed to drive engagement.

  • Through personalisation, gamification and loyalty, efficiently and effectively repeatedly get the brand and products in front of each relevant audience and navigate them from where they are to engage and/or purchase at high conversion rates. Understand what type of content drives each customer decision using audience segmentation.

  • Ensure user journeys are tailored and personal with the most relevant content served to each fan. Consult analytics to improve dwell time and engagement and strive for constant improvement through innovation.

  • Contribute to the department’s input to an improved loyalty program. Use gamification and rewards to drive repeat purchases and fan happiness. Identify opportunities and use loyalty to drive desired behaviours.

  • Support on all digital marketing campaigns; ensure a flexible and agile approach so there is adequate support within the department and across the business. Be proficient and have a background working in social media, CRO, SEO, PPC and User Experience design and testing.

  • Owning web platform analytics and reporting, ensure that all decisions are evidence based that aim to continually improve digital performance, engagement, personalisation, loyalty and UX across the website.

 Marketing Executive Person Specification:

  •  Suitably qualified and not necessarily from a sports background 

  • The ability to use Content Management Systems and Google Analytics 

  • A background in using ESP and CRM platforms to grow database engagement

  • The ability to run PPC campaigns across social and Google

  • A background in SEO

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal

  • Good organisational and planning skills

  • Able to demonstrate initiative in taking ownership of tasks and projects.
