Four-Day Week with Full-Time Pay

JOB PROFILE
Overall Purpose of the Role:
Providing support to the Treasury team, the primary purpose of the role is assisting the Senior Treasury Manager in the running and maintenance of the Balance Sheet Management system, along with assisting in preparing prudential documents.
Dimensions of the Role:
The role holder will need to manage their time effectively and work on a number of separate tasks concurrently, prioritising activity in an appropriate manner.
Internal contacts – Senior Treasury Manager, Finance Team, Lending Services, Savings Team
Key Accountabilities:
Treasury
• Responsible for the daily running and maintenance of the new Balance Sheet Management system.
• Preparation of ALCO pack and taking ALCO minutes.
• Maintaining treasury processes and documentation.
Regulatory
• Keep up to date with the ongoing regulatory changes which are anticipated over the next 12 months.
• Preparation of data tables and narrative for prudential policy documents.
• Coordinate collection of the monthly Early Warning Signals reporting.
Other
• Leveraging the Balance Sheet Management system in production of the quarterly Charity Bank ALCO pack.
• Maintaining the Deposit Behaviourlisation model.
• Involvement in the annual budgeting cycle.
Assisting the Head of Regulatory Reporting with the month-end process and associated reporting
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Experience & Attainments (Essential)
· Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Treasury environment with active exposure to Balance Sheet Management systems and reporting
· Educated to degree level or equivalent
Special Aptitudes (Essential)
· Excellent numerical and analytical skills
· Inquisitive nature to question standing assumptions and processes
· Accuracy, and high attention to detail
· Comfortable manipulating and processing data in Excel
· Ability to prioritise workload and deliver to deadlines
· May be required to work longer hours to meet fixed regulatory deadlines
· Eager to learn and develop accounting and treasury knowledge
· Team player but able to work on own initiative
