Job Description

Ashden's mission is to accelerate transformative climate solutions and build a more just world. Our awards, campaigns, networks and analysis support climate innovation in the UK and Global South.

But with the arrival of new funding, workstreams and leadership, we’re asking how to make our organisation as effective and impactful as possible.

Ashden is seeking a change manager to work across our organisation during a period of major growth. They will need to scope the impact of bigger budgets and new staff and activities, and also develop change management strategies to achieve defined outcomes. This includes assessing the budgetary impact of proposed changes.

Their work will also include protecting and strengthening our culture and values, putting diversity, equity and inclusion at the heart of what we do.

Specific tasks will include introducing new internal communications processes, creating training plans, coaching managers and supervisors, and potentially supporting organisational restructuring.

The role holder will need extensive experience in impact assessment processes, business readiness and gap analysis. They will also have experience delivering cultural and organisational change, and liaising with staff, management, and partners to maximise adoption. We are seeking someone with a practical understanding of formal change management principles and methodology.

Our staff are passionate and proud of their work, which builds on Ashden’s 20 years supporting climate pioneers. Join us to help them achieve even more in the years ahead.

Interviews will take place online Monday 4 September and in person Thursday 7 September 2023.
