Job Description

Role outline and purpose

Responsible for the delivery of a professional, responsive and inclusive employee experience. Achieved through operational excellence in administration of people policy, process and practice. Ensure completion and documentation of recruitment, onboarding and offboarding activities. Ensure the HR Information system and recruitment platform is consistently maintained with accurate data and efficiently utilised to deliver against the requirements of the People function and business.

Role responsibilities

·       Monitor and manage the People Experience inbox, responding to enquiries from employees, managers, and external stakeholders. Prioritize and escalate emails as necessary, ensuring timely and appropriate responses.

·       Provide support for People Experience projects, including research and presentation preparation. Assist in the development of HR policies and procedures. Take on ad hoc tasks as assigned by People Experience leadership to contribute to the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the department.

·       Facilitate recruitment, onboarding and off-boarding of employees, including processes, communication and with new employees, hosting the People Experience induction.

·       Ensure timely processing of payroll in accordance with our providers schedule, including managing adjustments to salary or job details, work patterns and pension contributions. Administer employee benefits, including group insurances, cash back plan, annual leave and other benefit platforms, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations. Respond to employee enquiries related to payroll and benefits, resolving issues, providing support and escalating where necessary.

·       Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations and company policies. Action updates to employee records, i.e. salary or role title changes. Generate reports related to employee data as needed for compliance and reporting purposes.

·       Oversee the HRIS (Human Resources Information System) to ensure data integrity and functionality. Maintain system workflows to ensure efficiency in processes and coach staff on system usage.

Person Specification

Technical skills and minimum knowledge:

·       Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to present information accessibly and, in a format, appropriate to the audience.

·       Competent user of software systems including HR Information systems, Recruitment platforms, Excel, and other MS programmes.

·       Good understanding of database management and report building  

·       Excellent attention to detail.

·       Respectful of personal data, principles of confidentiality and how equity, diversity and inclusion principles underpin the work.
