About Bite Back 2030
Be part of the creative and agile team behind Bite Back 2030’s exceptional teenage activists. Join us as a Senior Manager of Youth and Talent, and contribute to a 10-year journey to help make the food system healthier and fairer and achieve our goal of halving childhood obesity by 2030.
Young people today are up against a flood of unhealthy food, pouring out of our highstreets, supermarkets and school canteens. As a result processed foods, snacks, soft drinks and takeaways are playing too big a role in their lives. Junk food is cheap and easy to access at a time when 3.3 million young people under the age of 18 are already at risk of diet related ill health. Overweight and obesity rates among our poorest are double those of our wealthiest young people.
About the role
Bite Back works with exceptional young people up and down the UK who are campaigning for a fairer and healthier food system.
We now have a unique opportunity for someone to join our team to develop and nurture our talent and help prepare our young people to take to the global stage and call for child health to be prioritised.
This is about enabling our young people to reach and deliver their full potential and ensuring that pathways exist with and beyond Bite Back to leverage that talent to positively influence a range of different audiences. You will be passionate about helping young people achieve great success.
We don’t believe there is another role like this out there and we are looking for a rare combination of skills and experience. If you think you fit the bill we want to hear from you.
