Job Description
Green MP Hannah Spencer is recruiting a Senior Campaigns and Communications Officer to join her small parliamentary team. You will lead on conceiving, developing and delivering her social media and campaigning output, ensuring constituents know what she’s doing on their behalf and helping drive her work on political and policy change.
Responsible for managing Hannah’s external communications, you will need excellent organisational skills and political judgement and will be flexible and calm under pressure. You should have a strong understanding of the main issues facing constituents in Gorton and Denton and a commitment to supporting Hannah as an authentic and influential Green voice.
Hannah is keen to receive applications from diverse backgrounds and especially from candidates that are not on a traditional pathway into working in politics.
Upon appointment you will be required to apply for security clearance, undertaken by the Security Vetting and Pass Office. See Members’ Staff Security Clearance page for further information. MPs generally pay staff in accordance with IPSA guidelines.
