POSITION : Talent Pathway Administrator
REPORTS TO : Head of Talent Pathway
LOCATION : Seat Unique Stadium, Nevil Road, Bristol
EMPLOYEMENT TYPE: Part time – 21 hours a week (working pattern will be discussed at interview)
START DATE: ASAP
Job Objective:
To provide support and administration for the Head of Talent Pathway.
WINTER PERFORMANCE PROGRAMME
Managing the accounts of the performance programme, including:
Winter coaching payments.
We currently have 15 boys teams with each member of the squad paying for this through online payment. Follow ups to this will be required throughout the winter.
Other costs that may be incurred by the programme e.g. coach costs and balls.
Booking sports halls well in advance of the November start date and providing payment. Currently we use three different facilities around the county.
Ensuring all coach DBS, First Aid and Safeguarding certificates are up to date and liaising with HR to help maintain up to date personnel records & right to work checks.
Ensuring that all safeguarding procedures are being followed and working closely with our safeguarding officer.
Collaborate closely with coaches regarding winter squad selections. List squads ready for squad announcements and ensuring they are communicated correctly to parents.
Communicate with parents and resolve any issues following these announcements.
Organise County Age Groups fixtures for the summer liaising with Head of Talent Pathway and County Age Group (CAG) coaches to ensure no clashes.
Working alongside opposing counties to produce a comprehensive fixture list for County Age Group & Development teams, ensuring the correct level of ability is matched.
SUMMER PERFORMANCE PROGRAMME
Perform administrative tasks relating to the announcements of summer squads at the end of April. Communicating with all age group coaches so squads can be announced and listed online.
Managing match fee payments and ensuring payments are made for festivals.
Ensuring pathway coaches are paid on time on a monthly basis, working closely with our finance department to submit timesheets and expenses accordingly.
Work with the Head of Talent Pathway on future player ID procedures and talent identification processes.
Working closely with the Gloucestershire Cricket Foundation (GCF) to ensure professional coordination of the trials process.
Point of communication for coaches and the Head of Talent Pathway.
Managing fixtures on the Play-Cricket website and GCCC website.
Liaison with cricket clubs within the county who act as match day hosts.
Booking accommodation and transport as required.
EPP and Academy Programmes
Providing administration support for these programmes to Head of Talent Pathway, Talent Pathway Head Coach & Pathway Strength & Conditioning Coach.
Ensuring correct documentation is provided to the ECB relating to selected players for these programmes.
Working alongside Head of Cricket Administration to provide contracts to selected Academy players.
Marketing support
To support the pathway with social media activity and working with the commercial team for general marketing of the Talent Pathway.

To support the Head of Talent Pathway and other staff in the delivery of relevant programmes

Personal Specification:
Knowledge & Experience
Knowledge of most Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel and Outlook as well as understanding of payment systems.
Proven established experience in administration
Proven experience in providing excellent customer service
Experience in internal and external communications
Budget management experience
Play-Cricket administration experience (ideal but not essential)
Social medica experience (ideal but not essential)
Skills and abilities
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of customers
Capability to work independently, using initiative and ability to prioritise
The ability to work to deadlines
Interpersonal Style
