About the Role
W&P is seeking a highly creative and self-motivated Marketing Associate to assist in developing and executing content across owned marketing channels. The Marketing Associate will be responsible for implementing W&P’s content strategy, overseeing content creation for social, email, SMS, influencer, affiliate, and web. This is an exciting, hands-on opportunity for a hard-working, creative person to create engaging content at an innovative, design-forward brand.
This role reports to the Director of Marketing and can be fully remote (US-based) or work out of our coworking spaces in NYC.
Responsibilities
Manage our social media calendar, inclusive of planning and posting daily content in line with the annual marketing calendar and replying to consumer questions and partnership inquiries
Management of influencer and affiliate relationships, including overseeing product gifting, content creation, UGC catalog, and performance tracking, and launching our first VIP program
Build and test email & SMS campaigns, working with our in-house Design Team to develop creative assets
Analytics reporting on owned channel performance (social, email, sms, influencer, affiliate, and web) and strategies for growing lead gen, engagement, web traffic, and revenue
Assist in styling and managing photo/video shoots with in-house Visual Media team to build marketing content
Optimize e-commerce website and Amazon experience, liaising with web agencies to update product assortment, messaging, imagery, and shopping experience to support innovation launches and marketing initiatives
Create sell sheets and assist with sales presentations to support new product launches
Execute small-scale marketing and administrative needs for the Marketing team
About You
2-3 years of professional experience in marketing and/or content development
Excellent writing and copy-editing skills with great attention to detail and grasp of brand voice
Strong creative eye and knowledge of how to identify and create on-brand assets and materials
In-depth understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, TikTok, etc.) with an ability to think creatively about how to leverage each platform for effective storytelling moments
Experience creating or overseeing content across owned channels (social, email, sms, web)
Experience collaborating cross-functionally and briefing design and photography teams to build marketing campaigns
Effective problem-solver, well-versed in communicating with tact, grace and empathy when managing relationships with customers and brand partners
Awareness of channel specificity and able to move from the creative side of marketing to analytical thinking
Exceptionally organized and process driven
Interest in the food, beverage and wellness industries with a pulse on emerging trends
Eagerness to learn and grow across all marketing disciplines
