Job Description

Brighton Pavilion has been the Green party’s flagship parliamentary constituency since Caroline Lucas was elected in 2010. After 13 years of tireless commitment to Brighton, the country and the environment, Caroline has handed over the baton to Sian Berry to be our candidate for Brighton Pavilion at the next General Election.

This is a unique time for Brighton and for the Green Party nationally. Having increased the majority in this seat to nearly 60% in 2019, and with a reputation for standing up for what matters for Brighton Pavilion and the wider country, we now fight this General Election with a new candidate in very different circumstances to 2019 or 2017. More broadly, we have two other constituencies in the city and a number of others around Sussex where the postholder will be able to take leadership on developing the Green Party’s vote.

We need a skilled campaign manager to lead a professional and expert volunteer team to win and maintain the support of the people of Brighton Pavilion so that Sian Berry becomes Caroline’s successor and to help build the vote elsewhere. You will have excellent strategic skills, be able to navigate a variety of relationships at the national, constituency and local level, have a track record in delivery of complex campaigns, be an effective relationship builder and, of course, you will know what it takes to persuade voters to support our candidate!
