Job Description
We’re excited to be looking for an Intern on a year-long paid placement, to work alongside our experienced team of industry professionals renewable energy system technologies including Solar, Wind, Battery Energy Storage Systems and Hydrogen.
Salary: This is a salaried placement, with salary to be within University guidelines, pension, 25 days holiday per year.
Start date: Flexible from end August 2024.

Location: Bristol/Glasgow office with hybrid remote working.

Your role
You will complete a 12-month renewable energy consultancy across the core technologies that Everoze specialises in, to provide support to the Everoze technology teams to complete ongoing commercial work and improve analysis tools and techniques. Specifically this could include:
Conducting technical due diligence;
Undertaking site inspections;
Tool creation and development.
We would like to hear from you if you meet the following requirements
We are looking for someone who is motivated to take the initial step in their renewables consulting career by joining Everoze for a 12-month internship to gain a technical understanding of the technologies in which we and the commercial challenges of renewable energy projects and the consultancy industry.
Core technical skills and qualifications required for the role:
Final year of a undergraduate degree in Engineering, Science, Economics or similar with strong academic performance;
Ability to write clear, precise and concise reports in English;
You want to use your skills to change our energy system for the better.

Hunger to develop and learn: You want to use the knowledge from your degree to date and to develop a broader set of skills during your internship.
Free thinking: You love the intellectual thrill of working to your own solution but also the team-bonding that comes from interactive problem-solving.
Commercial and economic awareness: You are actively engaged and interested in the ongoing economic issues that are driving the energy transition.
Analytical ability: You enjoy and have an aptitude for Excel and/or coding (Python, SQL).

How your development will be supported
Everoze works across multiple technologies and there is potential to specialise in your areas of interest or to broaden your expertise: We encourage you to take ownership of your own development.
This means that you will be expected to set your own goals and targets and will plan to achieve these.
Everoze will provide you with a mentor for the duration of the internship who will be responsible for supporting you with identifying and achieving your own development goals and to tackle any problems that may arise.
You will also find yourself supported informally by a number of highly experienced Everoze partners that are considered leaders within their own technology sector.
