Job Description

Rowan, Rook and Decard is looking for a customer service assistant to help make sure our customers get the best possible experience.

The role will be focussed on ensuring our customers have the best experience possible when they buy our products or have questions about them. We expect that this will mostly involve responding to incoming email, as well as Kickstarter, Discord and other social media messages in order to solve problems for customers.

As well as answering queries, we hope a successful candidate will work to understand and improve the customer experience, helping to identify and implement long-term improvements. They may also get involved in defining and creating new systems, processes and structures to prevent future problems, working with the wider RR&D team.

This role is flexible and fully remote within the UK, and both salary and title are negotiable for the right person. We estimate that initially this will take roughly 1-2 hours per day, but that this may rise or fall as the role evolves. We'd like to work with you to define a schedule that fits with what you need as well as the demands of the role; we do expect that the job will involve some work on every weekday, but we are happy to discuss this requirement. We think this work would fit alongside a university degree, another part time role, or other commitments.

As we're a very small business, you'll likely take on some things outside your core role - but only the ones you're happy doing. For example, this might include travelling for conventions or representing RR&D at events, or chipping in to product design discussions. We also believe this role has scope for growth if this is something that interests you - especially for a candidate with experience or interest in community management and/or social media management.

About us: We're a small six-year-old tabletop RPG studio and publisher, and we work very flexibly and in a fully remote setup, using Discord and other tools to collaborate and communicate. We encourage working in a way that works for you personally, and we strive to create a high-trust, high-autonomy environment in which you own and can be proud of what you do.
