Education / Qualifications / Training / Experience
Extensive executive level finance and accountancy experience and leadership
Extensive budgeting and business planning experience
Strong leadership experience and developing and managing high performing teams
Relevant qualification in finance and accounting and evidence of continuous professional development showing up to date knowledge of accounting regulations and practice
Experience of operating as part of a senior leadership team, demonstrated ability to understand and engage in strategy development and execution, and understanding of business operating models
Experience of programme and project leadership and driving positive organisational change
Experience in working with Boards and building confidence and credibility at that level.
Knowledge
Strong commercial acumen and business knowledge
Extensive experience of successful partnership working with the NHS or sector with similar Information Management & Technology requirements (population records, information, and systems).
Skills
Excellent communication and influencing skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to balance competing service, commercial and financial priorities
