Education / Qualifications / Training / Experience

• Extensive executive level finance and accountancy experience and leadership

• Extensive budgeting and business planning experience

• Strong leadership experience and developing and managing high performing teams

• Relevant qualification in finance and accounting and evidence of continuous professional development showing up to date knowledge of accounting regulations and practice

• Experience of operating as part of a senior leadership team, demonstrated ability to understand and engage in strategy development and execution, and understanding of business operating models

• Experience of programme and project leadership and driving positive organisational change

• Experience in working with Boards and building confidence and credibility at that level.

Knowledge

• Strong commercial acumen and business knowledge

• Extensive experience of successful partnership working with the NHS or sector with similar Information Management & Technology requirements (population records, information, and systems).

Skills

• Excellent communication and influencing skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to balance competing service, commercial and financial priorities
