What we’re looking for

We are a growing team of Seismic Changemakers, and we are now seeking a new Head of Operations to lead the execution of the next phase of impact and business growth

This is an exciting role in a growing business and will need a high level of energy, motivation, teamship, creativity and organisation to provide the impact we need.

The role and its responsibilities

The exact role definition will be dependent on the desire, capability and experiences of the right person. Key responsibilities are likely to include:

  • Leadership of our agile, human-centric operations to deliver an outstanding experience for both our team and our clients.

  • Development and integration of our core operating systems

  • Leading the smooth running of our Human Systems including:

    • Recruitment process

    • Onboarding of new candidates into our growing team

    • Learning and development framework

    • Capacity planning and resource management

  • Support and interaction with our legal, risk and compliance management through collaboration with our finance and legal functions.

  • Creating and sharing business intelligence from our various reporting systems.

  • You have had experience managing operations functions in a fast-growth, agile professional services organisation

  • You are comfortable giving and receiving feedback, even to senior management, with the spirit and intention needed to deliver our impact.

  • You have great communication skills (verbal and written), especially when it comes to communicating recommendations to clients and colleagues.

  • You are excited about the opportunity to be part of a high performing team, learning and growing with Seismic as we deliver our vision.

Location

You will be within commuting distance of London, with flexible home working, and the expectation to be in the London office 1 to 3 days a week.

Working hours

We believe in flexible working hours to better suit our personal lives while being considerate of each other and our clients. We generally work office hours but trust each other to make fair decisions.
