Job Description

North Lancashire Green Party is one of the most successful Green parties in the North West of England. Greens lead the administration of Lancaster City Council and have ambitious plans to win a parliamentary seat.

With crucial local elections coming up in 2027 the party is looking for a dynamic organiser to help retain and increase the Greens’ strong influence in the area. We're looking for a talented, driven and organised individual to help us scale up and seize this moment. As our Campaign Organiser, you'll be at the heart of that push to grow - turning energy into action by empowering local campaign teams, building systems that work, and inspiring volunteers to give their best. This is your chance to help elect a record number of new councillors and reshape the future of local politics.

You’ll build and develop brilliant teams of activists, make sure campaign plans run smoothly, and help deliver the literature, events, and conversations that win elections. From co-ordinating action days to fostering relationships with supporters and helping fundraise you’ll keep everything moving and make sure no opportunity is missed.

We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds and are particularly keen to encourage those who are under-represented in politics to apply. If you have transferable skills such as bringing people together, organising projects, or motivating volunteers, we’d love to hear from you.

This is a role for someone who loves working with people, thrives under pressure, and has the determination to see real results: more Green councillors, stronger communities, and campaigns that change lives.

We’ve already built strong foundations. But with the election fast approaching, we need someone who can hit the ground running, turn energy into action, and help make our vision a reality.
