For you, the act of discovering and translating the nuanced elements of brand and business needs (function) to conceptual drafts and polished assets (form), is a stimulating challenge, and an excuse to continue to expand your capacity and hone your craft.

You're also:

• Hard to offend; unafraid of feedback

• A natural collaborator and communicator; you ask good questions and make sure everyone is on the same page

• Eager to take initiative and use your creative license, not just execute on design briefs

• Over 21, without a criminal history of felonies

• Multi-media experience such as photography and video is a plus

About This Role

*PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS A TEMPORARY ROLE*

Vangarden is looking for an experienced graphic designer to cover a paternity leave from the end of March through the beginning of July.

Reporting to Vangarden's VP of Sales & Marketing, you will have a range of specific responsibilities:

• Translate marketing strategy into visual designs and vice versa for presentations

• Quickly iterate through multiple style options each across many brands with diverse appeal

• Learn & follow CCC marketing regulations regarding prohibited imagery and labeling requirements

• Design for billboards, products, labels, merch, internal assets, and social media assets (images, videos, gifs, etc.)

• Create web assets for Vangarden's websites

• Social Media posts

• Collaborate with external parties on co-branded / co-sponsored assets

• Collaborate with an on site photographer, using your photo editing skills to create a finished product

Location: Hybrid/Remote, with some travel to the facility in Leicester, MA required at the request of the VP of Sales and Marketing
