We are looking for someone who wants to build out their capabilities to cover the full gamut of business operations at a venture capital firm, including fundraising, legal, company secretarial, operations and compliance. This role is for someone who loves a challenge, has a growth mindset, and is incredibly organised.
Here is a brief overview of some examples of work you will do:

Operational processes - assist in monitoring and improving our internal processes and checklists
Regulatory compliance - work with the team on ad hoc, quarterly and annual regulatory returns as well as assist with a range of other internal compliance tasks
Taking minutes - take minutes during meetings and clearly communicate any follow-up actions
Lots of ad hoc tasks to keep you learning and on your toes!
Position Requirements
Your background is less important than your key skills, which include:
Being extremely detail-oriented and organised
Ability to multi-task and work to tight and often competing deadlines
Passion for the startup ecosystem (this could be demonstrated through past experience, involvement in university programs, the companies you follow, the blogs you read or even the podcasts you listen to!)
Some familiarity with commercial legal documents
Advanced communication skills both internally and externally and maintaining a hospitality mindset in dealing with all stakeholders
Fantastic at creating and energising by improving, monitoring and implementing internal processes
Ideally a penultimate or final year law student or new parent looking to return to work part-time
Available at least 2 days a week
