Job Description
Project Description
The goal of the project is to provide market intelligence and validation for the continuous improvement of the Beyond Earth mission strategy. This project will consist of a research study concerning a case study, stakeholder map or similar. The insights from this research will help refine the offerings and customer engagement the mission deploys to drive the growth of the space economy in the UK by leveraging the opportunities from the in-space economy. The areas of interest are in-space logistics and servicing and microgravity manufacturing and R&D.
Over the 8 weeks, we hope you will develop your skills and understanding in:
The applicant will learn to conduct a research study, find relevant sources, analyse data from a variety of sources and how this type of research can impact a business strategy.
They will learn about the ISAM ecosystem in the UK, the work done within our mission team and acquire in-depth knowledge on the subject of the case study. Further, they will learn about stakeholder mapping, market research, case study framing, research and reporting. They will gain insights into the running of the mission and change processes in programme planning.
The successful applicant will have the following skills:
An interest in ISAM, and the in-space economy.
Experience in self-led desk research.
Desirable: biochemistry, engineering or science background.

8 weeks minimum fixed term contract to be agreed with successful candidate
5 days holiday to be taken during the placement
