Job Description
The Programme Manager is a pivotal role in Glitch’s delivery, impact and income generation, delivering on both grant sponsored and bespoke commissioned training.
This role would suit someone highly organised with experience of designing and delivering training and on resource creation in a small charity or start up. Someone who is knowledgeable of facilitator and client management, how to market paid training, as well as experience of grant reporting and impact measurement, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality training and resources, with an interest in supporting people in a flexible, creative environment. Glitch is an ambitious charity that is developing and growing, so the role would suit somebody innovative and proactive, extremely strong on human development, processes and systems and wants to develop and learn with the organisation. This role would suit someone who cares passionately about intersectional feminist values, who is deeply committed to diversity and equality in society.
Job Description
Creating and developing resources, including for training, for key communities and for our key stakeholder groups
Planning and coordinating workshops – including training and liaising with facilitators on new content, organising online training events, creating online systems, building relationships with new stakeholders, processing invoices
Ensuring that all our workshop materials are up to date and consistent and working with graphic designers e.g. to develop new workshop slide decks and notes that are “off the shelf” to use for different training offers
Build on our current monitoring, evaluation and learning systems, carry out monitoring and evaluation of training workshops and ensure that they are delivered to a high standard
Build our paid clients training database and seek income generating opportunities
Oversee our grant training and complete grant reporting processes in full
Plan and develop our resource bank to ensure that all people can move toward being responsible digital citizens
Work with the Senior Communications Coordinator to plan and schedule social media to promote our programmatic work
Research relevant topics to update training in order to deliver on our impact aims where necessary
Develop internal processes relating to our programmatic work to ensure compliance with key policies, consistency and efficient use of charity resources
Think creatively to change and develop the programme in the light of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic
Develop and deliver our strategic development of our programmatic work

Person Specification
Essential
Strong project management skills and experience of leading multiple and conflicting projects across a diverse group of communities and stakeholders
Experience of creating both paid and grant training and workshop resources - ensuring that these are participatory and centred in inclusive and diverse language
Experience of organising and leading both paid and grant funded training and workshops
Confident delivering training both online, including through Zoom and Microsoft Teams and offline
Knowledge of developing, updating and enforcing online codes of conduct and creating safe spaces for different communities and ensuring all facilitators are confident and consistent in how they develop these
Possess key interpersonal skills to deliver training, coordinate facilitators and collaborate with clients, including active listening skills, ability to make strategic decisions and problem solve, flexibility with your approach, strong communication skills and patience
Demonstrate a friendly and efficient email and phone manner
Demonstrate the ability to solve problems and think creatively about how to approach issues
Be passionate about the aims of Glitch
Desirable
Experience of working with external agencies to create marketing and pricing processes
Experience of delivering on marketing strategy
Experience of graphic design or working with design agencies
