Who are Love Ventures?
Love Ventures is a top emerging Venture Capital firm that invests in exceptional technology founders across FinTech, Future of Work and ConsumerTech. The company was founded in 2020 by two brothers, Marcus and Adrian Love and is on a mission to build the UK's most engaged tech investor community.
Love Ventures has successfully raised three EIS funds to date, having fully deployed two of these already. So far, we've invested into 22 start ups, including the likes of Banked, Fifth Dimension AI and Tembo, that are reimaging how and where we spend our time and money.
The offering today is an Evergreen EIS fund which seeks to close twice a year and deploy capital within a 12 month period. The Love Ventures platform is expected to continue to expand, with potential additional products for investors and intermediaries, including institutional focussed offerings and further growth funds.
The core team comprises Marcus Love (General Partner), Adrian Love (General Partner), Faye Williams (Distribution Director), Kit Blakiston-Houston (Head of Direct Investors), Alice Knibbs (Senior Associate) & Bill Corfield (Senior Associate). With a range of backgrounds from Capgemini, The Instant Group, Barclays Ventures, Octopus Investments & Backed VC.
As part of the wider team, Love Ventures has a highly experienced investment committee which comprises of four members, three of whom are exited founders from Skyscanner, Instant Group and Passmark Security, as well as one with corporate technology experience from Google and UiPath.

What is the role?
Love Ventures is hiring for a Marketing and Brand Lead, who will be responsible for the marketing across the firm. This wide-reaching role will be focussed on propelling the Love Ventures brand and community into its next phase. To begin with, the role will be focussed on the EIS Fund offering, with room to grow to additional products and services as they are launched in due course.
This role gives the opportunity to an individual who is looking for their next stage of growth and looking to make their mark in a company which has ambitions to grow into a household VC brand.
What are the Marketing and Brand Lead core job responsibilities?
Creation and delivery of all central communications to investors (HNWI and family offices) and intermediaries (financial advisers and wealth managers). Examples include: regular email campaigns, investor updates and newsletters
Using a variety of systems they will create and execute the content and materials associated with these communications
They will work alongside the Sales, Investment and Client Servicing teams to deliver on their strategy
They will deliver and execute the social media strategy on platforms such as LinkedIn and X, with a minimum of two posts a week, looking to come up with creative ways of growing the Love Ventures follower base and engagement
They will create regular thought leadership and educational pieces to support the Sales & Investment teams, including white papers and industry research
They will develop relationships with key PR contacts to ensure we grow our reputation and brand across various relevant media channels
They will be responsible for organising and running events and webinars on a regular basis in collaboration with the Sales and Investment teams
They will monitor the success of digital campaigns and conversions to click throughs and opens and explore ways to increase these rates from a strong foundation
They will monitor the ROI across various events and campaigns and report on this to their manager and senior stakeholders
In their role they will need to work closely with our Appointed Representative to ensure that all materials and communications comply with FCA regulations
What are the Marketing and Brand Lead desired skills?
Creative mindset and approach to the work they execute, thinking outside of the box and coming up with new ways of engaging with our audience
Familiar with Marketing outreach tools and know how to build and manage campaigns within them
Highly proficient in using Microsoft and Google’s suite of tools particularly Powerpoint and Google slides
An understanding of a CRM system and how to manage subscription lists to ensure that an individual's marketing preferences are managed accordingly
The ability to understand the FCA handbook and GDPR and how to deliver campaigns in line with this
A proactive and positive attitude, being prepared to work above and beyond across multiple projects at any given time
Experience within the Venture Capital industry or working for a VC backed start-up would be advantageous
