Technical Project Manager
Proton
- Closing: 5:27pm, 13th Aug 2021 EDT
Job Description
About Us
Proton.ai is revolutionizing wholesale distribution. Distributors sell nearly every physical good you come across. Key to the economy, they make up over 28% of GDP. But there’s a problem. Selling as a distributor is complicated. Distributors carry hundreds of thousands of complicated SKUs, making it impossible for distributors to know what their customers need. Proton cuts through this complexity with AI. We provide a solution that modernizes distributors' sales efforts. And in doing so, we help distributors better serve their customers.
Our company is in hyper growth mode. We’ve grown >6X YoY. Needless to say, it’s an exciting time to join the Proton.ai team.
The Role:
As our Technical Project Manager, you'll be responsible for driving client facing technical projects. Following a handoff from sales, you'll learn about our clients' needs, in order to scope the project and set the client up for a successful implementation. You'll then work across both the client and internal teams to integrate and rollout our solution. You'll be the decision maker, communicator and orchestrator of projects but won't be responsible for any coding. You'll play a critical part in Proton's mission by shaping the way Proton organizes and executes enterprise integrations from the ground up.
What you'll do:
Collaborate with sales to communicate and scope requirements for potential client projects.
Own the post-sale communication and execution for new and existing client projects along with a hand-off to customer success.
Ensure your existing client deployments are scoped and carried out successfully and on time.
You'll be great fit for this role if you have:
Exceptional organizational skills, instilling a sense of transparency and visibility to the parties you work with.
Tech savviness. You have knowledge of IT topics and ability to triage and articulate them beyond a surface level.
Communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
Empathy for our customers, and ability to understand and prioritize their needs.
Experience that may be helpful:
Experience in program or project management may help you highlight your organizational skills.
Experience in engineering may help you highlight communication and triaging in a software environment.
Benefits
This is a full-time remote position within North America (or willing to work USA hours). Competitive salary $75k, plus equity, health benefits (we pay 99%), 401k and a generous vacation policy.
