Job Description

About the role

As the Business Support Administrator at SSAFA Headquarters in Episkopi, you will play a key role in ensuring the effective day‑to‑day operation of our offices. You will provide dedicated administrative support to the Director of Community Healthcare Services, manage office functions, oversee procurement and travel arrangements, coordinate financial processes, and maintain essential contracts and inventories. You will also provide support to localities and far commands.

This is a varied and dynamic role where no two days are the same. You’ll have the opportunity to take on a wide range of responsibilities that help keep our service running smoothly and efficiently.

About the team

You’ll be joining the Community Healthcare Services team based in Episkopi, working closely with the locality team leads, Business Support Administrators, and colleagues across Cyprus. The team is dedicated to delivering high-quality support to service users, fostering a collaborative and supportive working environment.

The Community Health Service also provides support to our remote commands, extending to mainland Europe, Canada and Brunei.

About you

You will be an organised, adaptable, and proactive individual with a strong commitment to high standards. Demonstrable experience in administration, excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, and confidence using Microsoft Office and digital technology are essential. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing multiple tasks, prioritising effectively, and communicating with people at all levels. An understanding of confidentiality and data protection is important, and you should be able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

Experience with basic financial transactions—such as handling receipts and processing payments—will be an advantage.

A full, current driving licence and the flexibility to travel across Cyprus as required are essential.
