The B Lab Benelux team is part of B Lab Europe. The Benelux Community is scaling rapidly, as the demand for B Corp certification and interest in impact management tools and programs across the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg is fast growing. About the role
The B Corp Engagement & Impact team is accountable for B Corp relations, ensuring that B Corps are engaged in, and satisfied with their certification. The team also develops opportunities to share knowledge and examples among B Corps to drive continuous improvement of their impact.
B Lab Benelux is looking for a B Corp Impact Improvement Lead to join our team. This is an exciting new role in the B Lab Benelux team and an opportunity to join an organization and movement working to make the global economy benefit all people, communities, and the planet.
In this new role, you will start from an outside-in (customer) perspective and overall focus on identifying opportunities that increase the impact of certification and ideate other programs or resources that increase impact and thus add value for our core customers: the B Corp community.
Your main responsibilities will be:
This is a new role in our team. Therefore your key tasks (not exhaustive) will entail:
Prepare B Corps for the new B Corp performance standards
Become part of the new performance standards (EoS) implementation team
Co-create the EoS implementation plan and support execution
Jointly with the Certification & Product manager to develop content (programs, resources) that support and encourage B Corps to work with the new B Corp standards,
Strengthen the B Corp impact improvement journey and assets
Together with the Sr. Manager B Corp Impact & Engagement, you will lead on:
Develop a community-wide strategy and tactics to enhance the continuous impact improvement ability of B Corps (e.g. better unlock the BIA potential as an impact management tool, specific peer or sector programs, automated impact improvement emails, etc.)
Develop activities to support B Corps on their impact measurement and management journey - adding to the BIA performance framework and the B Corp standards (e.g. setting up specific programs, events, webinars, peer- or sector sessions, toolkits, blogs)
Co-create tailored services and tactics for the various types of B Corps (smaller, medium and larger companies)
Data and insights analysis
Capturing insights around improvement and impact and translating them into strategy and actions
Building a system of community impact data analysis , track and update community impact (e.g. to tailor our offerings and events) and
Creating reports and impact dashboard creation
Work with other team members on share insights for content and program development
Collaborate with the team on designing and programming Belgium & Dutch B Corp gatherings and events (providing specific content related to impact improvement).
Preferred Qualifications, Skills & Knowledge
3-5 years of working experience in at least the private sector or consulting
Experience in working with multiple stakeholders or companies on collective initiatives.
Proven knowledge of impact in a business context, ESG /sustainability strategy and implementation, data analysis, and monitoring.
Strong analytical skills and data analysis and reporting capabilities.
Fluent(verbal and written) communication and presentation skills in NL and ENG.

Gets energy from talking to a culturally diverse group of people, both inside B Lab and within the B Corp community of businesses
A self-starter, someone who takes initiative and can start new projects on their own.
A team player with strong stakeholder engagement and cultural awareness skills. Preferably experience working in international organizations.
What we offer:
Indicative salary range EUR 54-59K gross per year (incl holiday allowance) dependent on relevant work experience
25 days of holiday plus additional days off over the end-of-year holiday period

Working arrangement: Hybrid - both working from the office in Amsterdam and working from home is allowed.
