Job Description

The role centres on engaging and servicing signatories, guiding them through PRI’s reporting and assessment processes, and delivering high‑quality onboarding, events, communications, and educational initiatives. The role reports to the Regional Head of Oceania and Asia (ex-China & Japan) and collaborates closely with global PRI teams, while also building on existing relationships with key industry groups in the region to advance shared priorities. This is a remote role with occasional in‑person meetings or travel as needed.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Engage with existing and prospective signatories, contributing to delivery of the team’s business plan and strategic objectives.

  • Support the onboarding of new signatories, helping them understand PRI’s expectations, tools, and resources from day one.

  • Prepare and deliver reporting and assessment briefings, ensuring signatories feel well‑equipped to navigate PRI’s annual reporting processes.

  • Contribute to the delivery of local and regional events and communications — including webinars, workshops, and roundtables — that help signatories deepen their responsible investment capabilities. This will include collaboration with colleagues and leading delivery on some events.

  • Build and nurture relationships with key industry stakeholders across Australia and New Zealand, including collaborating on joint initiatives, events, and thought‑leadership activities.

  • Work closely with PRI’s global teams to roll out priority programs across areas such as Climate, Human Rights, Investment Practices, Reporting & Assessment, and Policy.

  • Represent PRI at relevant industry events, helping raise the organisation’s profile and showcasing leading research, guidance, and initiatives.

  • Maintain accurate signatory records and provide consistent updates on engagement activities, ensuring data quality and smooth internal coordination

  • Familiarity with core responsible investment themes, including climate, human rights, nature and other emerging sustainability priorities.

  • Knowledge of the Oceania investment landscape, including major market participants, regulatory developments, fiduciary duties, and the broader policy environment.

  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship‑building skills, with the ability to communicate confidently and effectively with diverse audiences.

  • A proactive, self‑driven working style, with the ability to operate autonomously in a hybrid or remote environment and demonstrate strong accountability and sound decision‑making.
