Job Description

 Job purpose:

You will plan and deliver marketing and campaigns (both directly and via partners and intermediaries) to business leaders to encourage their engagement and participation in improvement activities that will increase productivity and have a positive economic impact.

Marketing strategies and delivery

  • Develop and implement organisation-wide and programme-specific marketing strategies to deliver on BtB objectives

  • Drive customer acquisition / recruitment through managing end-to end campaigns including planning, coordinating, targeting, reporting and optimisation with a specific focus on digital activities

  • Create go-to-market communications launch strategies alongside key stakeholders to effectively roll out and grow the scale and impact of key programmes and activities

  • Support the acquisition and high performance of partners through development of collateral, tool kits, insights and shared planning and delivery of partner-specific campaigns 

  • Ensure marketing activities are robustly delivered in a way that allows for monitoring, testing and learning; evolve and innovate activities based on insights derived from within the team and outside

 Engaging partners, suppliers and colleagues

  • Work directly with partners to inform their activities and advise and support the deliver of work that furthers BtB objectives; and support partnership managers to advise on marketing and campaign efforts

  • Manage relationships with external agencies and freelancers, proactively selecting appropriate agencies and regularly reviewing agency usage

  • Working closely with other teams, in particular Head of Communications, to ensure alignment of communications and marketing activity and develop joint plans

  • Working closely with other areas of the business to help ensure marketing output and collateral is consistent with all Be the Business content and relevant to all various stakeholders and audiences

 

Planning and resourcing

  • Managing marketing budgets and informing the prioritisation of its spend

  • Ensuring marketing activity achieves good value for money and minimising wastage

What we are looking for:

  • Understanding of B2B and B2B2C marketing

  • Broad multi-skilled marketing background

  • Expert in digital marketing

  • Experience of SME marketing

  • Able to work closely with a network of internal stakeholders (both directly and remotely) to understand their business objectives, needs and develop marketing campaigns and materials that help meet their goals

  • Able to engage with external stakeholders (SME participants and partner organisations) with a professional approach

  • Proven track record of understanding and operating within existing brand guidelines

  • Creativity and strategic thinking

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver independent pieces of work
