Job Description
Job title: Designer
Reports to: Head of Creative
Responsible for: Delivering high‑quality, technically robust creative artworking and design across multi‑format campaigns, digital channels and print production.
Working pattern: 2 days in office in London, the rest remote.
1. About my role
This is a craft-led, production-heavy role: roughly 70% precision creative artworking with a design touch and 30% more sole design. We're looking for an integrated designer who takes as much pride in flawless, pixel-perfect production as in the idea itself.
The Designer produces high-quality, technically robust and brand-consistent creative work that promotes Art Fund across print, digital, social, environmental and campaign formats. Working within the Creative Team (part of the wider Digital Experience function), you'll ensure that every visual output - from long-form publications to high-volume digital assets - is crafted to a production-ready standard.
You'll translate Art Fund's visual identity across multiple channels, maintaining consistency while adapting designs for varied audiences, platforms and formats. The majority of your time is spent in expert creative artworking and production; deck creation and visualisations - the remainder is genuine design - real concept ownership on named projects.
This role will suit someone with the design judgement to originate creative ideas and the temperament to execute them meticulously at volume and at pace. If your idea of a good day is delivering a run of assets that are perfect down to the smallest print refinements or pixel perfect notes then this is for you.
