Job Description

ImpactEd is an award-winning social enterprise that exists to help evaluate, understand and improve impact in education. We work with both schools, multi-academy trusts and other education organisations such as charities, universities and education technology companies.

We work with both schools and education organisations such as charities, universities and education technology companies (our ‘impact partners’). This role is focused on supporting and managing our growing number of impact partnerships with a particular focus on the use of our ImpactEd platform.

We are looking for a partnership manager who is comfortable with building partners’ capacity for measuring impact from both a conceptual and systems perspective, thinking through complex processes and facilitating evaluation design, including delivering Theory of Change workshops. This role would lead on the development of our ImpactEd platform partnerships, giving them a real opportunity to have an impact on how we deliver this kind of work. Additionally, partnership managers are also expected to contribute to leading partnerships in other areas (capacity building and delivering evaluations), including being involved with data collection activities and conducting independent impact assessments of a number of educational programmes and interventions. This role would have direct line management responsibility of an Impact Partnerships Officer and/or Coordinator.

We are looking for some of the following attributes, though you might be more experienced in some areas than others:

  • Understanding and experience of the UK education system

  • Research and evaluation experience, particularly in education or youth work. Experience of working with quantitative data sets and building systems and processes for data collection and reporting would be especially valuable.

  • Experience with facilitation and co-design processes, including complex stakeholder management and  workshop design and delivery

  • Experience of partnership management, particularly in relation to programme delivery or consultancy roles

As well as this, you are likely to be most successful in the role if you have exceptional attention to detail, communicate clearly , and share our intellectual curiosity and desire to learn rapidly.
