Purpose of Role

To contribute to Art Fund’s ambitious fundraising targets by developing the Corporate National Art Pass – Art Fund’s corporate membership programme – and identifying wider partnership and sponsorship opportunities, enabling businesses to inspire engagement with art and culture and align with Art Fund’s charitable mission.

In this role, you will lead the development and delivery of the corporate membership scheme with a focus on enhancing the offer and strengthening corporate relationships, promotion and securing new clients. You will also identify, shape and take forward wider opportunities for corporate alignment with Art Fund and our charitable programme. You will implement a longer-term strategy to hone Art Fund’s corporate offer, contributing to our goal to increase funding for museums and galleries across the UK.

As a member of the Development (fundraising) team, you will work closely with the Director of Development and Art Fund’s wider National Art Pass marketing team. You will oversee and collaborate with the Development Coordinator, responsible for administration and pass fulfilment for clients and employees.

Key Accountabilities

Leading the Corporate National Art Pass scheme

-        Manage a first-class client experience from initial enquiry to membership renewal. Includes implementing a customer journey of communications for the full membership cycle, with stewardship tailored to the needs and profile of each client.

-        Implement new strategies to ensure membership fulfilment is efficient and cost-effective, working closely with the Development Coordinator and colleagues in the National Art Pass team and advocating for the programme through a new CRM process.

-        Responsibility for budgeting and forecasting with control of expenditure, monitoring income and reporting progress against income targets.

Enhancing Art Fund’s corporate offer

-        Undertake comprehensive market research to benchmark against corporate membership schemes in arts and culture and beyond, identify barriers to sales or marketing opportunities and use insights to hone Art Fund’s USP for corporate partnership.

-        Develop and lead a compelling content strategy designed to increase employee engagement with the ways they can use the National Art Pass, impact for staff wellbeing and inspiration, the work of Art Fund and the museums they help us to support.

-        Harness wider fundraising, programmes or marketing activity to add value to the membership and cultivate corporate relationships more broadly – such as museum events, brand partnerships or digital content.

-        Capitalise on wider improvements to the National Art Pass that would enhance the membership offer, efficiency and experience.

Income growth

-        Increase member engagement to support retention, proactively seeking opportunities to maximise income potential from each CNAP client – such as tailored communications, presentations and a presence at employee benefits fairs.

-        Implement a strategy for recruitment by increasing the visibility of CNAP online and in print, building a prospect pipeline, devising and delivering pitches to decision makers and influencers, and negotiating contracts and terms to secure new members.

-        With the Director of Development, colleagues and consultants, explore wider opportunities for corporate support and alignment with Art Fund’s charitable activity and funding programmes.

-        Define the longer-term potential of Fund’s corporate offer by identifying Art Fund assets, contributing to their definition and valuation, undertaking research and building a prospect pipeline that aligns with Art Fund’s charitable mission, programme and values.
